Long Description

This is the forward primer pairing with the reverse primer BBa_K4047004, to amplify the gene for fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase. This allows the insertion of both fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase and transaldolase into the pGEM-tal+fbp plasmid (BBa_K4047038). The overlap sequence allows proper Gibson assembly with the pGEM-tal+fbp backbone (BBa_K4047024). The annealing portion (all caps) allows annealing to the wild type Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942 genome for proper amplification.

This primer is entirely BioBrick compatible, making it readily useable for future iGEM teams.
